The Ride for Becca Foundation’s goal is to be a resource for equestrians when they are in need of help. The Foundation has provided several forms of assistance to riders and horses over the years.
2021
- Awarded Junior PHA award including scholarships
- Developed several scholarships for riders to apply for
- Financially assisted a rider with her goal to compete at WEC
- Hosted clinics with Candice King, professional show jumper
- Provided holiday gifts to children in need
2020
- Financially assisted several local riding schools that were having financial difficulty due to the inability to give lessons during the pandemic
- Donated hay, grain, bedding and other supplies to farms that were in need
- Provided several local shows with MVP and Sportsmanship awards to distribute at their events
2019
- Awarded working student grants and scholarships
- LIPHA
- Provided financial assistance to local horse shows to enable them to continue hosting their events and provide the local equestrians a place to compete
- Provided financial assistance to a professional rider and his horse that were both diagnosed with caner for medical expenses
- Supported local girl scout troops with donations to assist in their efforts to send cookies over seas to US troops
- Provide riding equipment and clothing to young children with the desire to ride horses but do not have the finances to purchase what is needed
